Singapore Airlines debuts new cabins in London

Singapore Airlines has just debuted its business and premium economy cabins in the UK and we were excited to see what the airline had in store.

The cabins will feature on five A380s fresh out of the factory and will eventually feature on 14 that are already in service.

We were excited to see the overhauled business seats with plenty more storage and the revitalised first class cabins, as one of the Airbus A380s made a grand entrance as it landed at Heathrow airport last weekend.

A generous 471 passengers can be seated in the new aircraft across four classes. There will be six luxurious suites available along with 44 seats in premium economy class and 78 in business class.

Singapore Airlines’ general manager for the UK and Ireland, Sheldon Hee, said: “It is a great pleasure to celebrate the inaugural flight of Singapore Airlines’ new A380 from London Heathrow.

“Bringing the new A380 and new cabins to London so soon after their launch is all part of our continued commitment to the UK market.”
